Job summary

Constellation Schools, part of the ACCEL Schools network in Parma, OH, is seeking an In-School Intervention (ISI) Monitor to help maintain a productive school environment and support students in ISI. The role focuses on supervising assignments, enforcing behavioral expectations, and providing academic assistance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s preferred) and an Ohio teaching license or certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with students in a school setting or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using basic computer software and educational tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students assigned to in-school Intervention to ensure they adhere to behavioral expectations and complete their assignments.
• Assist students with their academic work, providing clarification and support as needed.
• Facilitate communication between students and teachers to ensure that assignments are clear and accessible.
• Implement and enforce school policies related to behavior and discipline.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments completed, and behavior incidents.
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement strategies for student improvement.
