Job summary

Constellation Schools in Parma, OH seeks an In-School Intervention Monitor to support students in the ISI room and promote a productive learning environment.

You will supervise students assigned to in-school intervention, assist with academic tasks, and reinforce school policies while coordinating with teachers and counselors to plan improvement strategies. This role emphasizes behavior support and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with students in a school setting or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using basic computer software and educational tools.
• Ohio teaching license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students assigned to in-school Intervention to ensure adherence to behavioral expectations and completion of assignments.
• Maintain a controlled and productive environment in the ISI room.
• Assist students with academic work and provide clarification and support as needed.
• Facilitate communication between students and teachers to ensure clarity of assignments.
• Implement and enforce school policies related to behavior and discipline, addressing issues constructively.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments completed, and behavior incidents; prepare reports for administrators.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop strategies for student improvement.
• Provide guidance to help students understand and correct behavior and encourage reflection.
