Job summary

Transitions Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated In School Counselors to provide counseling in North Attleboro, Mansfield, Medway, and Bellingham schools. The role requires independent licensure or being provisionally licensed, with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff and provide effective student support.

Counselors will enjoy flexible scheduling and be part of a supportive work environment with benefits including competitive compensation, free clinical supervision, and 401(k) match. Evening and weekend hours are part of the role for family sessions and assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be independently licensed (LICSW or LMHC) or provisionally licensed working toward independent licensure.
• Experience working with kids and teens preferred.
• Comfortable with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to students during school hours.
• Work collaboratively with school counselors and staff.
• Conduct family sessions, parent meetings, and treatment planning updates.

Skills

Experience with children and adolescents

Comfort with documentation and electronic health records (SimplePractice)
