Job summary

Transitions Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking in-school counselors to provide individual counseling to students across partnering districts, with some evening and weekend family sessions.

Flexible scheduling and autonomy are available within school hours. We hire independently licensed LICSW or LMHC, or provisionally licensed clinicians with a master’s degree in social work or counseling, who have experience with children/adolescents and are comfortable with SimplePractice documentation

Qualifications

  • Independently licensed LICSW or LMHC, or provisional licensure with a master's in social work or counseling.
  • Experience with children and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with documentation and SimplePractice EHR.
  • Collaborative, warm, student-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counseling to students during the school day, working with school staff to support success.
  • Collaborate with school counselors and staff to support each student's success.
  • Conduct family sessions, intake assessments, and treatment planning update sessions.
  • Offer flexible scheduling outside of school hours when needed.
