Job summary

Transitions Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking licensed in-school counselors to support students across partner districts in Massachusetts.

Independent LICSW or LMHC clinicians, or provisionally licensed with a master’s in social work or counseling, are welcome, with experience with children and teens encouraged. Responsibilities include providing individual counseling during the school day, collaborating with school staff, and offering family sessions outside hours; some evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • Independent licensed clinicians (LICSW or LMHC) or provisionally licensed with a master’s in social work or counseling.
  • Experience with children and adolescents preferred.
  • Comfort with documentation and electronic health records (SimplePractice).

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counseling to students during the school day.
  • Collaborate with school counselors and staff to support student success.
  • Some evenings and weekends may be required for family sessions, intake assessments, and treatment planning updates.
