Job description

We are seeking an In Room Dining Supervisor for the 2025 season to join our Room Service team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, comfortable with challenges, and committed to providing authentic and luxurious dining experiences. They should demonstrate care, confidence, curiosity, and a sense of community.

The candidate should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the main duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Anticipating guests' needs and handling complaints to ensure an excellent and personalized room service experience.
  2. Supervising and managing food and beverage service in rooms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  3. Personalizing the in-room bar offer.
  4. Establishing good relationships with guests, handling requests and inquiries promptly.
  5. Overseeing room service staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, with support from the Restaurant Manager.
  6. Ensuring food and beverage quality meets hotel standards.
  7. Conducting regular inspections of room service equipment and supplies.
  8. Managing inventory, ordering, and stocking supplies as needed.
  9. Maintaining accurate records of orders, inventory, and staff schedules.
  10. Preparing performance and feedback reports.

  2. Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.
  3. Drive to deliver high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding guest and colleague expectations.
  4. A global perspective, treating everyone with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position or background.

Additional requirements for the Room Service Supervisor role:

  1. Fluency in English and Italian; proficiency in a third language is preferred.
  2. Previous professional experience in a similar role within a luxury environment.
  3. Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
  4. HACCP certification.
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and handle guest complaints effectively.
  8. Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Benefits include:

  1. Seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 3, Room Service Supervisor.
  2. Start date: April 2025; end date: November 2025, with potential for ongoing collaboration in subsequent seasons.
  3. Salary as per CCNL + increases based on seniority and skill level (approx. €2,380 gross/month) + separate payslip for 13th, 14th month, and TFR.
  4. Welfare incentives based on performance.
  5. Accommodation in staff housing including breakfast.
  6. Bus ticket benefit during the contract period; staff canteen access.
