Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is an emblem of Portofino’s allure. We are looking for a Barman Supervisor for the next season to join our bar team. The Barman Supervisor will be in charge of the Pool Bar at Splendido, inaugurated in 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Pool Bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to Belmond’s high standards and procedures.
• Assist with service, setup, mise en place, and cleaning.
• Monitor all aspects of the guests’ experience, from the bar layout before their arrival to the experience they receive during the service.
• Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Support all other team members with the service.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with all guests and handle requests and inquiries.
• Report to the Bar Manager.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
• Ability and willingness to work as a team player.
• Provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues.
• Treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level, or background.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment.
• Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
• HACCP certification.

Belmond and You:

• We offer a seasonal labor contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 3, Bar Supervisor.
• Start date: April 2025 to End date: November 2025, with the aim of continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path.
• Monthly gross salary around €2,000, separate payslip for 13°, 14°, and TFR.
• Monthly welfare incentive based on quality goals + welcome bonus.
• Accommodation in our staff house including breakfast.
