Job summary

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is seeking an In-Room Dining Supervisor with a passion for excellence and aloha spirit. You will lead the In-Room Dining team, ensure high standards, and coordinate with other departments to deliver a distinctive guest experience.

The role requires fluent English, strong communication, and at least one year in a similar environment with solid knowledge of food & beverage. We offer benefits, onsite parking and complimentary meals as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication skills and guest interaction abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage and related service standards.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate F&B computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, lead, motivate and coach In-Room Dining staff to meet standards.
• Be visible in operation, recognize staff, handle guest requests and complaints.
• Describe quality of food and beverage items and knowledge of wine/spirits.
• Attend operational meetings for coordination between departments.
• Monitor facilities and equipment and suggest improvements.
• Assist with service of taking orders, presenting and delivering to rooms.
• Assist with cleanliness of operational areas.

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for an In-Room Dining Supervisor who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

What You Will Do

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach and discipline all employees in the Hotel’s In-Room Dining Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Describe and ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services.
• Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
• Observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
• Assist with the service of taking food orders, preparing the presentation and delivering orders to the room.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the operational areas.

What You Will Bring

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication skills, as well as guest contact and organization skills
• Candidates should have at least one year previous experience in a similar environment and have a solid knowledge of food and beverage.
• Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• The ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
• Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
