Job summary

The Inn at Mattei's Tavern is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to deliver outstanding service to guests in-room and with colleagues. You will take orders, input into the POS, deliver items, and ensure accurate billing and guest satisfaction.

Must have 1+ year in customer service or hospitality, be able to lift 30 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. State and local certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or foodservice/hospitality experience.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for food and alcohol service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain state/local food handler and alcohol certifications.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Take and input orders into the POS with correct timing and billing.
• Deliver items efficiently and on time.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and service.
• Communicate special requests to the kitchen and maintain menu knowledge.
• Prepare guest checks and process payment or signature.
• Maintain and clean all restaurant equipment and fittings.
• Keep cart stocked with beverages, snacks, and non-food items; manage storage.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Clean and maintain in-room private/mini-bars; report issues.
• Check quality and expiration of items; replace as needed.
