Job summary

Shaner Hotels invites applications for a Food & Beverage service role at Playa Largo Resort & Spa in the Florida Keys. Responsibilities include delivering orders to guest rooms, maintaining the room service area, and ensuring adherence to daily F&B procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a public-facing role, possess a high school diploma, and can communicate effectively with guests and staff. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, with alcohol-service training preferred.

Qualifications

• State minimum age to serve alcoholic beverages.

• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (TIPS).

• Knowledge of local activities for clientele.

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
• State minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
