In Room Dining Server Overnight

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Management team, you will support and provide excellent service to all hotel guests, residents, and members. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and checking on guest satisfaction. You will use the freedom to go beyond to turn guest interactions into moments of magic.

Responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Provide exceptional and personalized service to guests staying at the resort, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations.
• Liaise effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered to guests in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including cash transactions, credit card payments, and room charges, following resort policies and procedures.
• Safely transport orders to guest rooms, navigating the resort layout efficiently and delivering orders courteously and professionally.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Carefully set up trays or carts with ordered items, garnishes, condiments, and utensils, ensuring each delivery is visually appealing and well‑organized.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Be a people person that thrives to create experiences for our guests that go beyond the expected.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing, always in a professional way toward guests and associates.
• High School Diploma, GED or some college experience or degree recommended.
• Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire.
• Must have a current Food Handlers card.
• Previous similar experience in a professional setting is preferred.
• Availability to work overnight during weekends and holidays.
