Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an In-Room Dining Attendant for Thompson Austin locations in the United States. The role handles guest orders, collaborates with the kitchen, delivers meals, and processes payments with care and accuracy.

Candidates should have a year of experience in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of liquor, wine and beer, and a team-oriented mindset. Overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required, with strong guest-service focus throughout.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of liquor, wine and beer paired with food knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintains room service area and equipment and retrieves items as needed.

In-Room Dining colleagues are responsible for recording guest food and/or beverage orders, offering menu suggestions, processing forms of payment for goods and services to include room charges and credit card. Our In Room Dining Attendants are a vital point of contact for the guest diningexperience and have the ability to ensure satisfaction. Other duties include general in room dining preparation, removal of serving trays from guestroom floors and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Receives and inputs guest orders.
• Ensure receipt of orders by kitchen are correct.
• Delivers food and beverage orders and collects payments.
• Settles checks in the P.O.S. system according to Hotel specifications.
• Assists in the maintenance of the Room Service area and equipment, including retrieval of all equipment throughout the hotel.
• Handles complaints or challenges with a positive attitude
