Zusammenfassung

Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is hiring a professional server to provide exemplary service to all guests in line with Omni standards. You will greet guests, set tables, upsell items, and coordinate with the culinary team to meet dietary needs while ensuring accurate check handling.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, handling MICROS transactions, and delivering a warm, welcoming guest experience across busy events and service periods. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year serving experience.
• Must acquire TIPS and ServSafe certifications.
• Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing.
• English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Ability to input information into MICROS.
• Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Record transaction in MICROS system in a timely manner.
• Adhere to cash handling standards.
• Ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
• Present accurate check to guest and process payment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained.

The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel has over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.

Environment & Position Analysis

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Position requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, twisting, and consistent use of hands and arms
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments
