Job summary

Remington Hospitality in California is seeking a courteous server to deliver in-room dining and assist guests with friendly, attentive service. You will set up trays, verify accuracy of orders, and ensure timely delivery within 20–30 minutes while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Knowledge of menus, glassware, beer, liquor and wine service is essential, along with adherence to alcohol awareness procedures and local laws. A positive guest relations mindset is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders and deliver to rooms within approximately 20-30 minutes.
• Develop a complete knowledge of menus, dish and glassware service, and utilize that knowledge in the service of guests as needed.
• Follow proper tray set up for all orders, including silverware, napkins, appropriate condiments, beverages, any special requests, etc. Check complete food order to ensure all have been set on tray for delivery.
• Develop a complete knowledge of service standards for beer, liquor and wine, complying with alcohol awareness procedures and complying with all applicable laws.
• Promptly return check and payment to cashier; call back to guest after 5-10 minutes to see if meal is satisfactory.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
