Job summary

FAIRMONT in Austin, TX seeks an In Room Dining Attendant to deliver professional, guest-centric service in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will collect daily guest lists, manage minibar records, maintain room-ware cleanliness, and restock items to ensure flawless guest experiences.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and teamwork, with opportunities for development through corporate academies and a global hospitality network.

• Previous service experience an asset.
• Previous POS system experience an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow Colleagues without constant supervision.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Reporting to the In Room Dining Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Collect in-house guest and arrival lists for the day
• Record any mini-bar items used to ensure accuracy in billing
• Ensure in room service-ware items are clean and as per standards
• Restock all mini-bar items in fridge prior to guests' arrival and during their stay
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
