Job summary

Hotel Paseo, Autograph Collection in Palm Desert seeks a Room Service/In Room Dining Server to deliver menu items to guest rooms with Marriott service standards. You will prepare trays, deliver to rooms, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Prior experience is not required, but knowledge of beverages, menu items, and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food, beverage and service standards.
• In-depth understanding of beverages and wines.
• Familiarity with all menu items and their accompaniments and ability to memorize and promote items.
• Proficient in English for customer communication and instructions.
• Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of room service operations, staffing and guest relations.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and proper garnishments.
• Prepare trays and deliver to rooms.
• Maintain Marriott service standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Check floors to retrieve all trays and carts.
• Prepare and deliver guest amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of Room Service area and personal hygiene.
• Other duties as assigned.
