Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and order accuracy.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and take accurate in-room dining orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly to guest rooms, maintaining proper presentation and temperature standards.
• Set up trays or tables in guest rooms according to hotel standards and guest preferences.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to in-room dining service with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Coordinate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service carts and dining equipment.
• Process guest payments and accurately record orders in the point-of-sale system.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest well-being.
