Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to provide attentive, professional food and beverage service in guest rooms and suites while upholding luxury standards. You will accurately deliver orders, explain menu selections when appropriate, and ensure every detail of the dining experience is flawless.

Set-up and delivery of orders, VIP amenities, and consistent guest-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 6 months or longer experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Knowledge of cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to observe details and work in dimly lit conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and deliver all food and beverage orders to guest rooms and suites as per guidelines.
• Perform floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation standards.
• Set-up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Serve hospitality suites in accordance with policies and BEO.
• Complete shift sidework and respond to guest needs to ensure a quality experience.
• Report communications to the supervisor and handle cash per policy.
