The University of California, San Francisco is seeking an Assistant Professor In-Residence in the Department of Dermatology to establish a basic-translational program focused on neuro-immune interactions that contribute to cutaneous dysesthesia, pain, itch and inflammatory conditions.

The successful candidate will devote part of their time to clinical care at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, teach residents and medical students, and join the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program while working

Qualifications

• Demonstrated achievement in dermatology or related basic science research.
• Strong track record of research publications and grant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a basic-translational research program on neuro-immune interactions.
• Provide clinical care at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.
• Teach residents, medical students, and house staff.
• Collaborate with UCSF departments and Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program.
