Job summary

Responsibilities

The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco is conducting a search for an academically interested medical dermatologist at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels. The position will focus clinically on outpatient medical dermatology. The incumbent will provide direct delivery of clinical care at one or two of our clinical sites, including the Mount Zion campus, China Basin, Mission Bay, Berkeley outpatient clinic, and other sites as needed. Approximately one half‑day per week will be spent supervising trainees in the dermatology teaching clinics at the Mount Zion campus.

Departments priorities include vulvar dermatology, contact dermatitis, artificial intelligence/machine learning, clinical trials, hidradenitis suppurativa, connective tissue disease, and hair and/or nail expertise.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Dermatology at the time of hire.
• MD or MD/PhD degree.

Salary

Minimum base salary range: $149,700 – $393,200, depending on rank and step. The position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides eligibility for additional compensation.
