Job summary

Volvo Car Germany GmbH is seeking a PSCE Material Flow Engineer to drive the introduction of new products and changes within in-plant logistics and lean materials implementation. You will interface with Manufacturing Engineering, R&D and central functions across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics engineering, data analytics or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in material flow engineering in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of materials flow systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead introduction of new products and changes in in-plant logistics.
• Act as subject matter expert in at least one area or system.
• Plan warehouse storage to optimize drive distances.
• Develop training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Define business requirements for IT systems in in-plant logistics.
• Prepare multi-month detailed project plans.
• Support cost-reduction and business plan initiatives and launches.
