Job summary

Sun-Chemical is seeking an on-site ink technician to support color matching, formulation, and small-batch blending at a customer location. You will produce inks to spec, maintain QC records, and coordinate with production to meet customer schedules.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the inks industry, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and color-matching software. Lifting up to 50 lb and handling 500 lb drums is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years industry experience.
• Customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and handle 500 lb drums following procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and color-matching software.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks per specifications.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain production and QC records.
• Coordinate production to support customer schedules.
• Provide technical service on press and report findings.
• Maintain weekly/monthly reporting to CTS and Sales.
