HeyTutor is partnering with a Fresno school district to hire tutors for elementary and middle school students during and after regular hours. You will support TK-6th grade learners and supervise groups to close learning gaps from the past year.

Compensation is $20-$25 per hour, with pay determined at interview. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-6pm (22-23 hours/week). A clear FBI-DOJ background check and TB test are required for this role.

Formación

• Must have completed 40 college credits or hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Tutoring experience (great at working with kids).
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us).
• Clear TB Test.

Responsabilidades

• Work with groups of students (without the support of a teacher or school site staff).
• Prepare area to start tutoring session.
• May pick up and drop off students from designated areas on site.
• Take attendance and run lessons through HeyTutor Dashboard (if applicable).
• Document student progress with HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments as requested by manager.
• Lead a group of students in tutoring sessions using provided curriculum.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for kids.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices.
• Engage with tutoring lessons alongside the students.
• Daily clocking in/out of Deputy for shifts.
• Any other duties as required by the Company or School Site.
