Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Retail team as Retail Experts in California, delivering in-person tax return preparation and advisory services.

You will engage with customers, promote TurboTax products, and help grow the local client base at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations, while upholding Intuit’s mission. Roles are on-site, require at least 20 hours per week, and involve proactive community engagement and professional tax support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be able to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays through Saturdays, for at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers.
• Grow TurboTax client base within the local community through outreach and relationships.
• Deliver excellent customer service and guide clients through tax planning and related questions.
