Job summary

CapTech is seeking Software Engineering interns for Summer 2027 at our Richmond, VA headquarters. The internship provides real-world problem solving with integrated teams working on client engagements across front-end, back-end, cloud, and DevOps technologies.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates graduating Dec 2027–May 2028, available 40 hours/week for 10 weeks, in person. Housing stipend is provided for those living more than 50 miles away; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduates with expected graduation dates in December 2027–May 2028 who will be seeking full-time work after graduation.
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated contributors in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• All majors welcome to apply; CS, BIT, Systems Engineering majors preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing applications with leading front-end and back-end technologies in web, mobile, cloud, web services, and/or DevOps.
• Partnering with client stakeholders to build systems in new and innovative ways.
• Manage parallel development and code versioning with Git.
