CapTech Consulting seeks an early-career Management Consultant/Business Systems Analyst intern for Summer 2027 in Richmond, VA. Work on integrated teams to determine and implement solutions to real business problems, with mentorship from full-time consultants and weekly leadership lunch-and-learns.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates graduating 2027-2028, self-motivated team players familiar with Agile/Scrum and SDLC, with interest in SQL and Python and a passion for technology consulting.

CapTech is looking for undergraduate Juniorsthat are passionate about technology with a desire to solve complex business and technical problems to join our internship program, Elevate.

Elevate provides meaningful immersion into the full life cycle of a typical IT consulting project. This unique 10-week program takes place in person in our Richmond, Virginia Headquarters and simulates a client engagement where one can achieve a full understanding of the consulting experience while solving relevant client problems. Interns work in self-led teams and are paired with full-time consultants for guidance and mentorship. Additionally, interns enjoy weekly lunch-and-learns with our leadership team. CapTech interns are given the opportunity to build something that matters and create impactful value.

Some responsibilities you could have as a Management Consultant/BSA are:

• Act as Scrum Master/Product Owner for development team
• Work with client stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and document requirements
• Analyze the current state and help design the future state
• Help set project cadence and lead team ceremonies
• Lead stakeholder reviews and client presentations

We are seeking Management Consultant/Business Systems Analyst interns for Summer 2027 who will work on integrated teams to determine and implement a solution to a business problem over the course of the summer. Characteristics of a qualified candidate include:

• Current undergraduates with expected graduation dates in December 2027- May 2028 who will be seeking full-time work after graduation
• Demonstrated an ability to be self-motivated contributors in a team environment
• Prior long-term school project or internship experience working in a team to create a deliverable
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and Software Development Life Cycle helpful
• Experience with SQL and/or Python preferred
• Exposure to consulting and/or client stakeholder-facing work from prior experiences is a plus
• All majors welcome to apply; Analytics, Computer Science, BIT, Systems Engineering majors preferred but not required
• Availability to work in-person 40 hours/week for 10 weeks in Richmond, VA from June 1 through August 6, 2027 (housing stipend provided for those living more than 50-miles away)
