CapTech is offering a Software Engineering internship in Summer 2027 at their Richmond, VA headquarters. The 10-week, in-person program is designed to immerse undergraduates in the full life cycle of IT consulting projects, working in self-led teams and paired with mentors.

Selected interns will contribute to real client problems, gain exposure to front-end, back-end, cloud, and DevOps technologies, and participate in weekly leadership lunch-and-learns.

Qualificações

• Current undergraduates with graduation dates December 2027–May 2028 seeking full-time after graduation.
• Self-motivated contributors in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Do you want to work on real world problems with smart, collaborative peers and leaders who are invested in your success? CapTech is looking for undergraduate Juniorsthat are passionate about technology with a desire to solve complex business and technical problems to join our internship program, Elevate.

Elevate provides meaningful immersion into the full life cycle of a typical IT consulting project. This unique 10-week program takes place in person in our Richmond, Virginia Headquarters and simulates a client engagement where one can achieve a full understanding of the consulting experience while solving relevant client problems. Interns work in self-led teams and are paired with full-time consultants for guidance and mentorship. Additionally, interns enjoy weekly lunch-and-learns with our leadership team. CapTech interns are given the opportunity to build something that matters and create impactful value.

Some of the responsibilities you could have over the summer are:

• Designing and developing applications with leading front-end and back-end technologies in web, mobile, cloud, web services, and/or DevOps
• Partnering with client stakeholders to build systems in new and innovative ways
• Manage parallel development and code versioning with Git

We are seeking software engineers for Summer 2027 who will work on integrated teams to design and implement a solution to a business problem over the course of the summer using development platforms and languages. Characteristics of a qualified candidate include:

• Current undergraduates with expected graduation dates in December 2027- May 2028 who will be seeking full-time work after graduation
• Demonstrated an ability to be self-motivated contributors in a team environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• All majors welcome to apply; Computer Science, BIT, Systems Engineering majors preferred but not required
• Availability to work in-person 40 hours/week for 10 weeks in Richmond, VA from June 1 through August 6, 2027 (housing stipend provided for those living more than 50 miles away)
