Job summary

Cushing Terrell in Spokane, WA is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support our Structural Engineering team on real client projects in person. You will build foundations of engineering principles, work with project teams on active assignments, including lateral systems and load path work.

You will develop calculations, plans, and details for an example building across education, commercial, and healthcare sectors.

Qualifications

• Completion of 3+ years of a structural or civil engineering undergraduate program.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculations, plans, and details for an example building under guidance of structural engineers.
• Build understanding of lateral systems and load paths through weekly modules.
• Work with engineering teams on active projects and assignments.
• Attend site visits with project leads when opportunities allow.
• Collaborate with interns and engineers across the firm.
