Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Grandview, MO. This in-person, full-time role focuses on developing IEP goals and therapy plans with collaboration across school teams.

You will create an inclusive classroom, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain timely documentation while receiving mentorship and ongoing support from school-based professionals.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Special Education Teacher license.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field.
• Experience in classroom setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
