Job summary

Rocky Mountain Prep Creekside is seeking a full-time MI Center Paraprofessional to support scholars with significant needs on-site. You will implement individualized plans, assist with daily living tasks, and collaborate with teachers to ensure accessible, joyful learning in a high-performing campus.

Ideal candidates will have experience with high school-aged learners, a background in educational support, and a commitment to equity. This is a full-time, on-site role at Creekside in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Provide evidence of completing high school or a GED.
• Pass a background check.
• Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
• We use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
• Previous experience working with scholars with disabilities.
• Experience working with high school students and diverse populations.
• CPI/NCI trained.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction by implementing lesson plans and data collection under teacher direction.
• Reinforce routines and social-emotional skills to promote independence.
• Supervise students to ensure safety during all parts of the school day.
• Collaborate with lead teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.
• Maintain professionalism and equity-minded practices in a safe environment.
• Provide personal and medical care as trained while respecting student dignity.
• Implement intensive behavior plans using trauma-informed practices.
• Support communication systems and life skills by meeting student needs.
• Remain flexible in a fast-paced MI setting and use feedback to improve practice.
