Creekside Elementary in Colorado is seeking a paraeducator-special education to support students with intensive needs in both regular and special education classrooms. The role involves behavioral, academic, health, and other supports under supervision.

The position is part-time 0.33 FTE with a 13.2-hour week, temporary through 5/21/27, and pays $23.46–$30.31 per hour. Gulf duties include assisting with tests, documentation, and field trips while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Communicate in English (read, write, speak).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; assist health-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students with intensive needs in regular and special education classrooms.
• Assist with adapting work, monitoring behavior, and implementing health care plans.
• Support students in cafeteria, recess, labs, and while boarding/alighting buses.
• Assist in crisis situations and document actions taken per policies.
• Collaborate with case manager/teacher on IEPs and progress notes.
• Attend required professional development and maintain relevant certifications.
