Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• New York State Teaching Certification, preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Education, preferred.
• Classroom teaching experience required; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons using culturally-responsive pedagogical strategies to support high-level academic and social-emotional growth.
• Intellectually prepare and internalize our shared curriculum and create engaging unit and lesson plans.
• Administer and grade assessments and analyze data to inform instruction.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student information.
• Attend meetings and participate in PLCs, grade-level and PD sessions.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences and ongoing parent communication.
