Ivy Tech Evansville is seeking a part-time math tutor to provide in-person support in the Academic Support Center. The role is ideal for a teacher or educator seeking to connect with students or a junior/senior student looking for a flexible part-time opportunity.

The tutor will assist students with assignments from various courses, demonstrate methods, promote the tutoring program, and maintain attendance records. Hours vary, typically Monday through Friday, at the Evansville, IN campus.

• Tutor students across a variety of courses.
• Demonstrate positive, welcoming attitude to foster learning.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate learning processes and offer alternative methods.
• Promote tutoring program on campus to students and faculty.
• Track tutoring hours accurately and maintain records.
• Work effectively as part of a team with staff and students.
• Communicate clearly and listen to understand student questions.
• Support the Learning Resource Center and library services as assigned.
