Job summary

Utah Transit Authority is seeking a Learning & Communication Intern to support leadership development, internal communications, and employee learning. You will create engaging Workvivo posts, coordinate learning sessions, and help ensure programs run smoothly from planning through delivery.

This in‑person internship, ~10–12 hours/week for ~4 months (potentially extending to a year), offers hands‑on experience in a large organization with opportunities to build portfolio‑ready work and

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a related degree.
• Transcript and two letters of recommendation required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Valid Utah driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and maintain internal posts and announcements.
• Develop engaging content for leadership development programs and resources.
• Respond to learner questions and coordinate communication with participants.
• Manage Outlook calendars for sessions and meetings.
• Provide logistical support for sessions and materials.
• Assist with registrations, attendance tracking, and participant communications.
• Prepare course materials, name tags, sign‑in sheets, and session handouts.
• Support room setup, A/V, and tech checks for sessions.
