Job summary

StudentNest Group in San Bernardino County is seeking tutors to provide Academic Support for high school students in Math, ELA, and Physical Education. This in-person role supports after-school programs across Victorville and surrounding locations.

Responsibilities include instructional support, managing classroom dynamics, and collaborating with agencies to ensure a well-supported program; Spanish speaking is preferred, and fingerprint clearance is required after offer.

Qualifications

• Spanish preferred.
• Fingerprinting process after offer.
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance required.
• Minimum of 60 college credits.
• At least one year of student-related experience.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.
• Effective communicator.
• Reliable transportation.
• Negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of hire.
• Love learning, teaching and empowering others.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical education instructional support for high school students (location-dependent).
• Provide Math academic support (Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra) to high school students.
• Provide ELA academic support to high school students.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other agencies to support the after-school program.
