Job summary

HeyTutor is partnering with a Victorville school district to hire tutors who can assist high school students (grades 9–12) during and after school hours. You will actively supervise students and help them catch up on learning gaps from the past year.

You must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check. If you are passionate about education, seeking consistent tutoring hours, or want to support students in your community, this is the perfect opportunity.

Qualifications

• AA or higher education completed or currently enrolled in college/university.
• Tutoring experience with kids is required.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check provided through us.
• Clear TB Test.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of students in tutoring sessions without teacher supervision.
• Prepare the area to start tutoring sessions.
• Take attendance and track progress in the HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Document student progress and results.
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested.
