Tutor Partners LLC is seeking an experienced high school English Language Arts tutor to provide in-person support at Afflerbaugh-Paige Camp in collaboration with LACOE. The role focuses on reading, writing, and language development for grades 6-12 in a juvenile education setting.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, through the 2026-27 school year. A background check is required and reliable transportation is needed for site visits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 24 college credits minimum.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement or wider eligibility.
• Experience with high school ELA and diverse learners is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide small-group and push-in ELA support during school hours.
• Track and report student progress to teachers and leaders.
• Assist with assessments and instructional planning.
• Coordinate with Tutor Partners staff for scheduling and materials.
• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment.
