Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced Drum Instructor to teach part-time at Melody Academy of Music, with locations in Fremont, Cupertino, and Palo Alto. In-person private lessons are required, with weekend mornings-afternoons preferred.

Applicants should hold a degree in percussion performance or pedagogy or have equivalent performing experience, a love of teaching, and reliable transportation to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in percussion performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience with young musicians.
• Punctual, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a routine background check.
• Ability to teach IN PERSON at Palo Alto/Cupertino locations.

Responsibilities

• Teach private drum lessons and, when needed, group classes at the assigned locations.
• Inspire students with engaging, structured percussion instruction.
• Coordinate schedules for weekend mornings-afternoons and maintain timely communication.
