Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a drum instructor to teach part-time private lessons at Melody Academy of Music with locations in Fremont, Cupertino, and Palo Alto. In-person teaching at Palo Alto and Cupertino locations is required. Weekend mornings-afternoons are preferred.

Candidates should have a degree in percussion performance or pedagogy or equivalent experience, and demonstrate a love of teaching, reliability, and punctuality. Background checks will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in percussion performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Experience teaching private lessons to young musicians.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to pass a background check.
• Ability to teach piano or other instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach private drum lessons at Melody Academy of Music, Palo Alto and Cupertino.
• In-person instruction only at assigned locations.
• Support group classes and maintain professional conduct with students and families.
