Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a part-time substitute piano instructor to teach in person at Melody Academy of Music with locations in Fremont, Cupertino, and Palo Alto. Ability to teach other instruments preferred.

Successful candidates will have a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a love of teaching, experience with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young musicians.
• Punctual and reliable, with transportation.
• Able to pass a routine background check.
• Weekday afternoon/evening availability and ability to commute to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for regular teachers across locations.
• Maintain engaging, high-quality instruction for students.
