Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a fun, experienced advanced piano instructor to teach part-time at Melody Academy of Music, with locations in Fremont, Cupertino, and Palo Alto. In-person lessons at the Fremont location are required, with possible teaching at other campuses.

Candidates should have a degree in piano performance or pedagogy, a love of teaching young musicians, reliability, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Degree in piano performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Experience teaching young musicians.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.
• Certificate of Merit and/or ABRSM exams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach private piano lessons at Melody Academy of Music.
• In-person instruction at Fremont location with potential other campuses.
• Maintain punctuality and reliable transportation.
• Prepare students for ABRSM/Certificate of Merit exams when applicable.
