Job summary

AMFM Healthcare in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Client Ambassador to support clients in recovery programs. You will supervise, assist with activities, coordinate logistics, and help ensure a safe, respectful environment for residents under our care.

The role involves admissions/discharges, crisis communication, and collaboration with the clinical team on medication management and documentation in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• HS Diploma/GED with 1+ year of related experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• Valid driver’s license with insured driving history per policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB clearance.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and transport clients safely to daily activities.
• Use intervention and communication skills with clients and families daily.
• Facilitate admissions and discharges and document in the EHR system.
• Adhere to Joint Commission policies, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Cover shifts and keep facilities clean and welcoming.
• Collaborate with the program nurse on medication management and monitor side effects.
• Maintain residences and conduct resident orientation and safety drills.
• Facilitate recovery activities and document in the EHR.
• Conduct observation rounds and report client attendance and behavior.
• Handle admin tasks including inventory and supplies.
