Job summary

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a Client Ambassador in Fairfax County, VA to support clients on their recovery journey. You will supervise activities, assist with admissions and discharges, and coordinate logistics to ensure safety and timely participation in daily programs.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, are 21+, and can lift up to 20 lbs. Full-time, Monday–Friday 6:30am–3pm with full benefits. Join a compassionate team dedicated to personalized mental health care.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma/GED with 1+ year of related experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
• Possess valid driver's license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy including 4 years of driving, 21+, <=3 moving violations in 3 years, <=1 major violation.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB clearance.
• Ability to pass background checks required by ADP and other governing bodies.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and transport clients safely to daily activities and appointments.
• Utilize intervention and communication skills with clients and families daily.
• Facilitate admissions and discharges; document in EHR; communicate with leadership and staff.
• Adhere to Joint Commission policies including infection prevention and emergency procedures.
• Cover shifts for staff and maintain a welcoming, clean home environment.
• Collaborate with program nurse on medication management and document administration.
