Job summary

NTC Language Services is seeking part-time, as-needed In-Person Educational Interpreters fluent in English and Arabic. Positions are in Western Suffolk County, NY, with no remote option. Starting pay is $35.00 per hour.

Travel to assignments in person is required, and interpreters will serve school communities, families, and educators. Responsibilities include interpretation for parent-teacher conferences, CSE/CPSE meetings, student evaluations, registrations, and school events.

Qualifications

• Interpreters must be able to interpret between English and Arabic.
• Candidates may have relevant interpreting experience; not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for school-related meetings and events.
• Ensure accurate, confidential, culturally sensitive interpretation.
