Job summary

Game Nerdz, a retailer of board games, card games, miniatures, and accessories, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee bookkeeping, reconciliation, and payment processing while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting month-end closes, and maintaining accurate records. This position is in-person in Richardson, TX with a comprehensive benefits package and strong focus on data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and payments.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Netsuite, or Acumatica preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports including balance sheets and income statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and other transactions.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
• Perform daily to annual bank reconciliations.
• Manage vendor payments and tax payments/compliance.
