Job summary

Benchmark Search in the Dallas area is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, reporting, and team leadership.

You will manage GL activity, supervise AP/AR, assist budgeting and variance analysis, maintain internal controls, and partner with operations and finance to address accounting matters. Prior leadership in accounting and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Prior Accounting Manager or similar leadership experience.
• Strong month-end close, GL, reconciliations and financial reporting background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Review general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Oversee AP, AR, billing, payroll, or other accounting functions as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Train, mentor, and review work of accounting staff.

Required Qualification

• Good communication and organizational skills
