Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN will administer medications, report patient conditions, and assist with health screenings for new hires under Employee Health.

Requires active LPN license, BLS, and nursing program completion. Flexible duties may be assigned based on department needs and patient care priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required.
• Active LPN license and BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized, goal-directed patient care under RN supervision.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN.
• Responsibilities in Employee Health include new hire and annual health screenings under RN supervision.
• May have additional duties within scope of role.
