Job summary

The Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), Office of Information Technology, seeks a skilled Business Analyst in Tallahassee, FL. This onsite role focuses on translating business needs into effective technology solutions, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting project delivery across enterprise initiatives.

The candidate will facilitate meetings, collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams, participate in testing and implementation, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BA principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of project management concepts and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of business process analysis and workflow design techniques.
• Ability to elicit, document and validate requirements through interviews and workshops.
• Experience preparing BRDs, functional specs, use cases and user stories.
• Ability to coordinate technology projects and monitor milestones.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specs.
