Job summary

Summit Interconnect, Inc. seeks a Shared Services Specialist to manage AR/AP processes within a centralized shared services group. The role emphasizes accuracy, high-volume processing, and collaboration with sales and internal teams.

This is an in-office position in Anaheim, CA, five days a week with light flexibility. Ideal candidates have a 4-year degree, strong Excel skills, and experience in accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with AR/AP processing and month-end close activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile AR and AP statements to ensure accuracy and no discrepancies.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service on billing disputes and collections.
• Process vendor invoices with correct coding and approval routing.
• Prepare and process payment runs (checks, ACH, wire).
• Respond to inquiries regarding invoice and payment status.
• Assist with monthly close activities and GL reconciliations as needed.
• Support intercompany transactions and corporate T&E program.
