Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. partners with an established structural steel fabrication company in Atlanta to hire two Project Managers.

You will manage multiple structural steel projects from handover through fabrication and delivery, coordinating with cross-functional teams and maintaining strong client relationships. Ideal candidates bring 3–7+ years in structural steel project management, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel and Word.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing approximately 4–10 structural steel projects at various stages.
• Taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, and overall delivery.
• Coordinating with fabrication teams, detailers, general contractors, vendors, and steel erectors.
• Reviewing drawings, contracts, purchase orders, and project specifications.
• Managing RFIs, change orders, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Coordinating fabrication schedules, material deliveries, and site requirements.
• Attending project meetings and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Monitoring project costs, reviewing invoices, and supporting financial reporting.
• Visiting project sites occasionally to ensure work progresses as planned.

We're partnering with an established structural steel fabrication company in Atlanta that's looking to hire two Project Managers to support its growing project workload.

This is an opportunity to manage structural steel projects from initial handover through fabrication and delivery, working alongside experienced teams and taking real ownership of project performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing approximately 4–10 structural steel projects at various stages.

Taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, and overall delivery.

Coordinating with fabrication teams, detailers, general contractors, vendors, and steel erectors.

Reviewing drawings, contracts, purchase orders, and project specifications.

Managing RFIs, change orders, subcontractors, and project documentation.

Coordinating fabrication schedules, material deliveries, and site requirements.

Attending project meetings and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Monitoring project costs, reviewing invoices, and supporting financial reporting.

Visiting project sites occasionally to ensure work is progressing as planned.

What We're Looking For

Structural steel project management or relevant steel construction experience.

Ideally 3–7+ years of relevant experience, although strong candidates outside this range will be considered.

Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and project delivery.

Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings.

Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and multiple stakeholders.

Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work on-site in an Atlanta office Monday through Friday.

Coming from a General Contractor background with significant structural steel exposure? We'd still be interested in speaking with you.

You don't necessarily need to have held a senior PM title. If you've been involved in delivering steel projects and is ready for more responsibility, we'd encourage you to apply.
